How have women through the ages dealt with miscarriages? Although many women feel alone or misunderstood while dealing with their miscarriage. I have often thought about women of the ages and the disgrace or shame that came with miscarriages. How did those very well mannered housewives of the 40’s and 50’s tell their family about their miscarriage?

Believe it or not, George W. Bush shares an experience that he had with his mother when she informed him of her recent miscarriage. Let me tell you, oddly a jar was involved. But who are we to judge how a women deals with her pain or how she shares the devastating news with her family?
